According to backstage sources within WWE, Dean Ambrose remains about 4-6 weeks away from returning to action, however, an appearance at SummerSlam can’t be ruled out entirely. This is especially true when it seems that his Shield brother, Seth Rollins, is outnumbered against the duo of Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre. Ambrose is expected to return as a babyface, but the long term plans for him is to turn heel and feud against Seth Rollins.
