Two matches have been made official for NXT’s go-home show for TakeOver 31.

A mixed tag match on next Wednesday’s NXT will preview two of the title matches for TakeOver. NXT Women’s Champion Io Shirai & NXT North American Champion Damian Priest will face Candice LeRae & Johnny Gargano on the episode. Shirai is defending her title against LeRae at TakeOver, while Priest is defending his title against Gargano.

LeRae became the number one contender to Shirai’s title by winning a battle royal on NXT tonight. Priest defeated Austin Theory on the show but was laid out by a superkick from Gargano after. Later in the episode, LeRae and Gargano interrupted Shirai as she was being interviewed backstage. Priest then attacked Gargano, Shirai and LeRae went face-to-face, and officials had to separate them.

Shotzi Blackheart vs. Dakota Kai has also been announced for next Wednesday’s episode of NXT. LeRae, Blackheart, and Kai were the final three wrestlers in tonight’s number one contender’s battle royal. LeRae and Kai tried to team up against Blackheart, but Blackheart eliminated Kai.

Roderick Strong & Danny Burch defeated Fabian Aichner & Raul Mendoza tonight, setting up a match between Undisputed Era and Burch & Oney Lorcan. WWE hasn’t announced when that match will be taking place. The winning team will become the number one contenders to Breezango’s NXT Tag Team titles.
