WWE SmackDown ratings remain steady this week
Overnight ratings are in for Friday Night SmackDown — and the show finished in the same range as it has for the last two months.
SmackDown averaged 2.417 million viewers, down less than one percent from last week. The show opened with 2.467 million viewers in hour one and dropped four percent to 2.369 million for the second hour.
In the 18-34 demo, the show was up 25 percent, finishing at a 0.5 rating. That matched the best rating in that category for SmackDown since November 8. In 18-49, SmackDown was up seven percent, averaging a 0.7 rating.
Other than repeat programs that aired on ABC, SmackDown trailed all other programming on the major networks in terms of total viewers. In 18-34, they matched Hawaii 5-0 and Magnum P.I. for the top spot, but SmackDown finished in the middle of the pack in 18-49, trailing those two shows and 20/20.
